EVIDENCE RULES

LINEAiGE Evidence Methodology

LINEAiGE is an evidence-controlled historical data system. The visual timeline is one way of viewing the record; it is not the record itself.

Primary-source preference

LINEAiGE prefers first-party and primary evidence whenever available.

Chronology is not causality

Events can be ordered in time without claiming that one caused another. Causal relationships require their own evidence.

Date precision

LINEAiGE does not manufacture precision. If evidence supports only a year or month, the record preserves that level.

Separate evidence layers

Canonical history, learning resources, contextual media, candidate research, and announced future milestones remain semantically separate.

Announced future

A future record remains an announcement until evidence confirms, updates, delays, cancels, or completes it.

Research gaps

An empty year may remain visible as a research gap. LINEAiGE does not invent events to fill space.
